Ages 6 mo – 3 yr · Parent & tot water safety

Infant Survival

Focus on breath control, floating, and water comfort. We build the foundational safety skills every toddler needs - with a grown-up in the water too.

The Approach

What This Program Builds

Our youngest swimmers learn that water is something to respect and enjoy. In our parent-and-tot classes, a caregiver joins each lesson while a certified instructor guides songs, holds, and gentle submersion drills that turn a nervous first splash into confident water play.

Format: 30-minute lessons, once weekly, one grown-up in the water per child. Class ratio is capped at 6 pairs to one instructor so no family waits at the wall.

Level band: Little Otters

By The End, Swimmers Can

  • Comfortable, cry-free entries and exits
  • Assisted back-float and roll-to-breathe
  • Reaching and wall-grab safety response
  • Bubble blowing and breath control
Core Skills

What We Coach

Water Comfort

Gentle acclimation to face-in-water, splashing, and being held in a horizontal float.

Roll to Back

The single most important toddler survival skill - rolling from face-down to a rest float.

Wall & Reach

Turning back to the wall, grabbing the edge, and reaching for a caregiver's hand.
