Blue Otter has taught the East Valley to swim since 2010 - one small class, one warm-water lesson, one confident kid at a time.
Built By Swimmers, For Families
Blue Otter began with a simple frustration: swim lessons that grouped kids by age instead of ability, in crowded classes where a nervous child could hide at the wall for a whole session.
Our founders - competitive swimmers and parents themselves - built the opposite. A transparent level chart, a hard 4:1 class cap, and a warm 90° indoor pool open every month of the year. Fifteen years and 15,000 swimmers later, it’s still the model.
We measure success the same way you do: the first independent back-float, the first full lap, the first time your child jumps in without a second thought.
